Dr Tharinya Supasa is leading ASEAN renewable flagship initiatives of the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Department (SRE) at the ASEAN Centre for Energy. She has led on a broad spectrum of insider-track ASEAN renewable strategic development, such as the ASEAN Renewable Energy Long-term Roadmap (RE LTRM), the cross-border ASEAN Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) framework, power system transformation for higher VRE, RE competitive procurement, renewable energy and carbon market, biofuel and bioenergy, SAF, and enhancing a competitive green hydrogen supply chain. Her work encompasses partnership engagement aimed at supporting ASEAN renewable energy targets and the member states’ renewable priority, with a particular focus on the renewable energy sub-sector network.
