Chinnawat Pama is a Principal Renewable Energy Engineer and Solar Team Leader at Mott MacDonald, based in Thailand, with over ten years of experience delivering technical advisory and owner’s engineering services for utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
He has supported developers, investors, and lenders on multi-gigawatt renewable energy portfolios, covering the full project lifecycle from feasibility and financial close to construction and operations. His expertise spans hybrid PV+BESS systems, grid integration, techno-economic assessment, and technical due diligence.
Chinnawat has led major cross-border energy transition initiatives, including gigawatt-scale solar and energy storage interconnector projects.
He is particularly focused on the evolving role of energy storage in enabling high-renewable grids and cross-border power systems.
