Dr. Titiporn Sangpetch is the Assistant Director of the Business Development Division at the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). With a 30-year career in the power sector, she brings extensive expertise in power system planning, renewable energy integration, and regional grid connectivity. She holds a Ph.D. in Power Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, UK, alongside an M.Eng. from the University of Colorado Boulder, USA, and a B.Eng. from Prince of Songkhla University, Thailand.
A leading expert in regional energy cooperation, Dr. Titiporn has dedicated a significant portion of her career to cross-border interconnection planning and power trade within ASEAN and across inter-regional networks. Her strategic work actively supports the advancement of the ASEAN Power Grid (APG), fostering international energy partnerships and cross-border grid integration initiatives. Previously serving as Chief of the Power System Connection and Cooperation Planning Department, she oversaw critical grid connection strategies and power system reliability assessments.
Currently, she drives EGAT’s sustainable innovation portfolio, leading decarbonization solutions through green technology adoption, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Virtual Power Plants (VPP), and e-mobility. Her deep technical background and strategic leadership make her a pivotal figure in shaping a resilient and integrated energy future for Southeast Asia.
